The Karcillion are a group of elite, organized mercenary like soldiers trained to do the toughest jobs as cleanly and efficiently as possible.
The Karcillion train in special holds until they have completed the "9 Trials of Isla-Kul-Ursula." Once these trials are complete, they become full fledged Karcillion. There is one hold for each major city in Amunz. (the continent in which Ariphix mostly takes place on.) Since there is only one hold for each of the major cities (there are about 5) each Karcillion wears a chest plate with the insignia of the city or ruling house. (Above is the insignia for the most northerly major city in Amunz, Norak. It is the Unicorn bacause the current ruling family is the Parsivaul House.)
If you're rich, you can hire a Karcillion or a squad of Karcillion to do a job for you or if your SUPER rich you can buy some to serve your house. However, if you stop paying, their loyalties and their services return to their hold and city.
These guys are like the queens guard or navy seals.
Don't mess with them.
