Kyashin ref species

Basic Info: Kyashins (Kee-yash-ins) are a species of cat/fox like creatures that live in dense jungle like climates on their home planet Kyash. (Kee-yash)
Kyash is a hot planet that consists of very few oceans and lots of plains and jungles. The jungles are thick and watery, providing a cool, dark, twilight like environment. This is the habitat that Kyashins make their homes in. The plains are VERY hot, and since there is no shade out there, it has become hot and parched.
Kyashins hunt small rat like creature and birds that nest in the jungles. They also eat nuts and berries sometimes, but their main diet is meat.
Females are the more dominant gender on Kyash. Females are the ones that become explorers and go on missions.
Males will stay on Kyash and guard their homes from enemies, such as other tribes or alien visitors.
Females are clever but aggressive, and they do not get along well with other females of the same age and mind set.
Males are more submissive, but can still be tough at times.


Rank: Kyashin babies are called kips. Kips live with their families for a fairly long time.
When kips are old enough to learn, they go to the kiln. They call it the kiln, cause they take the mushy, easy to mold minds of youngsters, and burn and harden said minds into what they shall be when they grow up. (this is metaphorical of course!)
From there, they can choose to go back to their homes, or to continue their training by going to the forge. The forge is where the hardened minds of Kyashins go to be sharpened and strengthened.
Females go to the forge to prepare to become explorers.
males go to learn to become warriors.
Explorers go to other planets to find plants and animals to add to their jungles.
(Basically, Explorers are a little like Irken Invaders.)
