Prompt #16 Family (EVOLOONS)

Nicknaming these thing the "Behemodiles." (Mash up of Behemoth and Crocodile.) They are Loonia's version of the Nile Crocodile, accept the saber fangs, rusty colors, tougher scales, slightly higher intelligence, WAY bigger size...

And a way more aggressive demeanor.

They've been known to try and eat anything that smaller than them when they're hungry, and most everything is smaller than them and they're always hungry. Obviously, loons and any other living creature makes it a point to avoid them.

Accept Ammit. Ammit's egg accidentally (and for unknown reasons) ended up with a clutch of Behemodile eggs in they're nest. When hatching day came, Mama Behemo got a bit of a surprise when she saw a small, plump and wriggly little thing squirming among her normal young. Usually, a mother Behemo would have DESTROYED anything unwanted or strange in their nest, but the babies seemed fine with their mystery sibling and the little loonling had already made two attempts at biting at her nose. So she decided she was cool with the spunky, agro intruder. 

And that's why Ammit may be the only living thing that can occasionally chill with certain Behemodiles in the area where she lives. She has mostly brothers (since egg temperature can dictate the gender of unhatched eggs like in real crocs.) They aren't always this chill, but they recognize siblings, so they'll have more patience with them.

And now you know her origins... More or less. XD
